Miletus Gregson

After having a variety of careers through the years, Miletus found her calling when she was hired as an assistant to the Agriculture/Wildlife Department by Hays Central Appraisal District in January 2003. By 2014, when she married Gray Gregson and moved out of state, she was in charge of the AG/WL department. During her years at HCAD, she successfully completed the education and testing requirements to earn her Registered Professional Appraiser designation. Her position with HCAD required her to process all AG/WL applications. Her duties also required her to process the applications for most all of the miscellaneous exemptions. She has both attended and conducted many Wildlife Management Workshops. Miletus was instrumental in implementing the Hays County requirements for agricultural use appraisal under bee keeping. Upon returning to Texas, she knew she wanted to work agriculture use appraisal for property tax purposes. Her years of employment with HCAD has provided her with insight and a deep understanding of the Texas Property Tax System. Knowing they can contribute greatly to her vision, she convinced her husband (Gray) and brother-in-law (Scott) to join her. Knowing Mick Mikulenka from her time working with HCAD, she contacted him for advisement.

Through his childhood and teen years, Gray gained extensive knowledge about the farming and ranching business both while working at the East Texas feed store owned and operated by his father and while participating in the running of the family farm which had a variety of livestock raised and crops grown. He has spent his adult life working in the music and entertainment industry. You can currently find him playing piano and singing songs all over the state and world. His travels have allowed him to meet many different kinds of people. His musical abilities have given him a keen mind for detail and math. Since listening to his wife, Miletus, talk about her work as an AG appraiser was always interesting to him and after having successfully protested the market value of his home he developed an interest in the field of property tax consulting. Joining Miletus in taking the necessary classes and passing the exam he is excited about working as a property tax consultant.

Mick Mikulenka

Mick brings an extensive history of working in the property tax business . He began his career by working for appraisal districts when they were first formed in 1979. By 1986, he was appointed Chief Appraiser of Kendall County. In 1997 he decided to branch out to property tax consulting. He has had a few different consulting firms through out the years. For 20 years he taught many different classes related to property tax appraisal for both the Texas Association of Assessing Officers and the Texas Association of Appraisal Districts. Mick is considered an expert in all things property tax related. He is held in high regard through out our state. A cowboy at heart, he is especially adept at AG/Wildlife appraisal.
